STORY:

All our lives Summers meant Potol. From fish curries to bhaja, from everyday curries to exotic stuffed Dorma, Potol was like salt. It was present everywhere. Loved and hated in equal proportions.
Like Nyaka, we thought it couldn't be translated to English. Hence it was special.
Much later we found small gourd is Potol.
When we created these block prints we wanted to celebrate this everyday star. You like it, hate it, but you can't ignore it.
The Potols are highlighted with green embroidered bands and the polka dots are embroidered in fuchsia pink to highlight the orange. With block prints and embroideries this blouse is Fun on Fabric.
