Story:
This blouse is named after Mahamaya - a character from the film Jatishwar played by Swastika Mukherjee. When we saw her wearing this one, this is the first name that came to us. Traditional modern entwined like ying and yang. The blouse is made in raw silk and organza with painstakingly done hand embroidered paisleys on back and sleeves. This blouse has all elements of vintage Bengal fashion, European influence and can be worn by today’s women as a modern garment.
The paisley details are exquisite and the blouse looks straight out of a dream.
