The beautiful decorative brass frame adorns deities at temples and home shrines. It is believed to be "radiance-shaped”, the glow of God shining behind Him. The arch shaped structure is often ornamented with a number of jvalas (protruding tongues of flame).
The top of Prabhavali has "Yali" - A mythical creature which looks like a lion. We have handembroidered the beautiful archs with a Yali’s face on top. They remind us of temples in Southern part of India with their unmatched architecture and glory.
We have used every possible fabric in little bits and pieces like bricks of a temple. Fabric from all over India - Jamdani, Ikkat, Benarasi brocade, mangalgiri, silks merged into Madras magic.
We have joined Prabhavali with Parijatam and what a beautiful sight it makes.
