Story: “ Peruvian “
Fabric from the Peruvian Andes, handloomed. Native Americans used Aguayo cloth to wrap and carry their kids on their backs. Textiles have a long history in Peru, dating back thousands of years. Textiles were a popular art form in ancient times, and weavers created unique styles, patterns, and techniques over time.
Inspired from the stunning weaves of Peru, we created this Dhoti in Shantipuri weave. It is our humble attempt to celebrate weaves across the globe in the form on indigenous Bengal weaves.
