Description: On Handwoven Cotton (black) with hand done Jamdani butas (white), we have recreated old handkerchief patterns along the borders of the saree. The saree draws its inspirations from old embroidery shops in New Market and Park Street in Calcutta. Beautiful white dainty daisies in rows embroidered all along saree borders. We wanted to recreate scalloped sarees on handwoven cottons instead of organzas and georgettes we have seen mostly. This one is our show stopper of the series.
