NEELAMBARI (Swarnachari)
This one is a royal blue Swarnachari. With copper threads, floral and geometric motifs are done on the saree. There are beautiful lotuses all over the pallu. The borders have floral motifs that resemble marigolds. The striking colour on Mulberry silk handwoven in Murshidabad district of Bengal has our heart. It is different from the human figures and historical story telling that typical Balucharis and Swarnacharis have.
