KOLAM (SAREE)

Story:

On silk Mangalgiri that borrows colours from Dairy Milk Cadbury wrappers, we have hand embroidered Kolams. Exquisitely beautiful rice powder patterns that adorn door steps. That is one of my earliest memories of Madras.
And we recreated them on silk six yards.
