The motifs of this painstakingly done hand woven Jamdani are age old. The typical “Dhakai” borders of erstwhile undivided Bengal. The butas are called Shondesh/ Pona/ Shondesh phool. We have retained the exact colour combination as seen in our grandmothers’ sarees. Light as air, these sarees are heirlooms.
