Story:

November 2019.
We were shooting for our India Story campaign at my friend's house in Rashbehari. This is a photo from that day, of a ground floor room. Ritwika was one of the muses and she photographed the tile pattern. 
I have been fascinated by Bengal tile patterns for ever. And we got the tile pattern of an old Rashbehari Avenue house, woven on Shantipuri sharee. It was way difficult than we thought it to be initially. We used Tussur on the weft and cotton on the warp. And what came out looked like Anirudhha's floor tiles. 
We have named the sharee "Rashbehari Avenue".
To celebrate how a shoot day never ends in the campaign but unfolds stories to be read later ~ on a sultry sleepy afternoon.
