Description: Our Badur Babu print is made with the intention to make a Neet Bor er jama. The Topor, garlands, Kulo, Kola gachh are all symbolic of a wedding. Badur babu is a young Bor himself all ready with a Topor on his head. This is an illustration made by our team imagining the childhood poem, Badur babur biye! Gol-gola photua was one of the most common sight when we were growing up. My father had a few and I can still see him going to the local fish market wearing a loose Photua and pajama. For me, that is what my father’s image is. We really wanted to introduce Badur Babu on a photua and make the kids of today wear it. Perfect summer wear, comfortable with loose Jamdani pants.
